empties: february 2017

Do you also feel satisfied whenever you finish up a beauty product? I tend to feel so excited every time I use something up, purely because I then can buy something new to try out. Let's get on with the post.

Sukin Cleansing Gel blended with a complexion-boosting mix of green tea, soothing chamomile, cucumber and avocado oil, the Sukin Sensitive Cleansing Gel perfectly purifies and cleanses sensitive skin. Sadly this cleanser was really drying, it is gentle, but drying. The cleansing gel does remove make-up really well, although I would not recommend using it near the eyes.

No7 Make-Up Brush Cleanser This product is a quick fix when you don't have time to soak your brushes. Spray a paper towel or tissue with cleanser before sweeping brush bristles across the damp cloth. It's quick fix for brush cleansing.
Origins Smoothing Body Oil sold for the scent, sadly the scent does not last longer than an hour on the skin, but it does keep your skin moisturised. Contains non-oily Jojoba Oil, know for its hydrating and skin-softening benefits. Great for exposed legs, back and shoulders.
Toni & Guy Volume Dry Shampoo the oil absorbing formula helps boost volume from root to tip for over the top hairstyles. Smells really nice, and gives the hair lots of volume.
Glam Glow Dual Cleanse Treatment a mud-to-oil formula that delivers a deep pore cleansing action without over-drying or uncomfortable tightness. Personally I don't get on with Glam Glow facial masks, they give my skin very uncomfortable feeling.  They are also so expensive!
Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream* a light but intensive hydrating cream ideal for normal to dry skin. This healing cream feels beautifully fresh and alive on your face. It amazing for sensitive skin, I would definitely re-purchase at some point.
Antipodes Grapeseed Butter Cleanser* soothes and removes impurities from all skin types, with a sleek minimalist preparation of nourishing cocoa butter, soothing olive and harekeke oils to soften and calming lavender and blue chamomile for sensitive skin. I found it so oily and sticky, hard to remove with just water. It was nice to use as second cleanse, but otherwise I did not like it.
Philip Kingsley Scalp Toner as my scalps are really dry, they tend to also be itchy, the scalp toner done a great job at keeping my scalps calm. Soothing leave-in Scalp Toner with an anti-microbial and anti-flaking formula that provides immediate and long lasting relief from irritation. Will go back to it.
Grow Gorgeous Serum if you want longer hair, this serum is a must! Packs an extra punch for achieving visibly thicker and longer hair while actively targeting thinning hair. Gives your hair some serious care with this unique, advanced formula containing a complex blend of 7 technologies to help your hair appear visibly longer, thicker and fuller looking. Intensely formulated to encourage hair thickness. I already have another one, ready to use.
