fit wednesday #01
Well this is normally a beauty blog, but recently I became obsessed with fitness. It's all about fitness, 2 months ago I decided to join the gym and so far I am loving it! I always get really excited whenever I have a chance to go, I always go in the morning. While I am there, I do 45min cardio, the first 30min is so boring, but the last 15-25min goes really fast as I challenge myself. Then I go to the others machines and do some muscles workouts.

What the actual point of this post? I am planing to post "fitness theme" post every or every other Wednesday, we'll see how this idea will go along. Along that I would also like to update you on how much weight I lost so far, I am planning to weight myself every Wednesday. This is something that will motivate me even more and hopefully for summer I will have new "sexy" summer body. Buying new workouts clothes just excites me. My main source of inspiration is tumblr. You can view mine here. I need more healthy food recipes, so if you know any websites/books, please feel free to share them with me.  Each week there will be new fitness topic, this post is more of an introduction.
january favourites

Been trying out so many new products this month, and I had fallen in love with pretty much all of them. I just realised that all of my favourites are high end, oops! Not going to lie, most of my make-up is slowly starting to became higher end, is everything alright with me? We have so many lovely bits in the "drugstores". Guess I need to check out Superdrug and Boots soon.

The Chanel Ombres Matelassees De Chanel Eyeshadow Palette in Charming is the most beautiful palette in my collection! It's so pretty, the eyeshadow are well pigmented. The palette was so expensive but worth every penny, also it looks so pretty on my dressing table. I love to have lengthen eyelashes,  Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara works so well with my eyelashes.  You can build it up to achieve more volume, it's just makes the eyelashes look very sexy! I am normally a fan of plastic brushes, but this one is just amazing, doesn't create any clumps. I kept on moaning that my eyeshadow dosen't last all day, MAC Paint Canvas in Bare Study just helps it to last all day long. The colour is pretty much just like a concealer,  so it's a lovely base to start off. No matter what brand of eyeshadow I wear they always last all day. I am a foundationholic, I just can't hide that, love to try out new foundations. YSL Youth Liberator Foundation is just amazing! The coverage is medium to full, I love the colour match for my super pale skin. Luckily it doesn't break me out, as some scented foundations do tend to break me out. I love floral perfumes, DKNY Be Delicious City Blossom smells amazing! Such a lovely light scent, it's not very overpowering and heavy. So sad it's a limited edition. Have you got any recommendations for me?

canon 70d my new toy!
Say hello to my new baby! I finally got my hands on 70D! I kept on thinking about Canon 5D Mark III or 6D, but in the end I decided 70D will be a lot better for my needs, as I am planning to make a big step. If you don't already know I been studying Photography, 1st year. I always been into fashion/portraits photography and I am planning to do more work in this area. As well as I might finally start making Youtube videos, this is something I wanted to do for a while, but I always have been unsure about it.

I am mostly excited about the flip screen, as my beloved Canon 550D didn't have that option, as well as it's a touch screen! How good does that sound? I am also planning to get my hands on the 60mm Macro lens, as well as the 85mm. Hopefully I will have everything by Saturday. This is the best very early Birthday present from me to me.
things i've used up #7
Empties are one of my favourite type of post to read, I also love writing mine. I don't always include all used up products, just because sometimes I forget to keep the empty packaging or my mum is the one who will use up the shower gel for example and she throws it away. Let get to the point.

I am not really fussy when it comes to shower gels, I mostly love Body Shop ones, but Radox Easter Spirit shower gel was great too! Done the job, to be honest I am not big fan of Radox showers gels, they do work, but the smells aren't as good. Pantene Hair Serum, this was a lovely never ending product. I love the smell, but I didn't really realised that it done anything to my hair, apart from smoothing down the frizz, a little. Batiste Cherry Dry Shampoo some people love Batiste Dry Shampoos, but I don't. I just feel like they leave y hair covered up in white powder, guess not everything will be good for everyone. Percy&Reed Dry Conditioner* this product smells amazing! I love the effect it gave to my hair, they look a lot more smoother. I will forever love Bioderma, this is a products I always go back to, it's just amazing. Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, one of my favourite foundations, I am almost out from my second bottle, and I will definitely still repurchase it. Just love the way it's looks on my skin. Origins Zero Oil facial gel this was a lovely product, but I didn't "wow" me. Smells lovely, I like the clear packaging so you could tell how much more you have, but other than that I didn't really notice any difference on my skin. Simple Hydrating Cream I loved the size! I never really been fussed about daily moisturiser (my bad, that have changed now), this is a lovely product to use on lazy days, does keep the skin moisturised. Schwarzkopf Gliss Kur Hair Repair, it's basically a leave in hair conditioner, in a spray form. It's lovely to help you brush out knots from your hair. Although it's a lovely product I would like to try out something else now. Mark Hill Blonde Shine Spray this products worked! It have added shine back to my hair, I liked the smell too. Garnier Moisture Match Cream this was lovely to use as an make-up base, worked well with foundation, but it's not really moisturising if you planning to use it as your day cream. I love classic red nails, the Rimmel Nail Polish in Red was really pretty, can't believe I manged to use up a nail polish, this most show that I liked it a lot. Sure Maximum Protection is my favourite deodorant to use during the summer, does the job really well. Dove Maxium Protection is good too, but I feel like the Sure one is a lot more stronger. Nivea Sensitive&Pure Deodorant is the worst thing I ever tried! To be honest I am just throwing it away, smells so bad! I just don't like it, it didn't even give me any protection.
things i've bought #10

Oops, haul time. So I finally picked up few bits from my forever growing wishlist. I been picking up lots of skincare pieces, some our not included in this post, as I don't have time to take photos in good lighting, will photograph everything on Saturday. There will be large Kiehl's haul, so excited to finally try out Kiehl's products.

I love trying out face mask, love treating my face once a week. Aveda Tourmaline Charged Radiance Masque is very different to all the face mask I own, can't wait to see what kind of benefit it will offer my skin. MAC Paint Canvas in Bare Study is something I wanted for a while, as I want my eyeshadows to last a little longer on the eyelids, we'll see how that would work out. When I say the shade of MAC Harmony Blusher I fell in love, so happy that I finally own it. For the past few days I been trying to haunt down the Chanel Christmas Eyeshadow Palette in Charming, it's an Limited Edition and it was sold out everywhere! So excited that I finally manged to find it. As I hardly ever use any toners, I decided to try out Origins Make A Difference Plus Treatment Lotion, still haven't tried it, as I want to use up my Liz Earle Toner before opening the Origins one. I am out of my day cream, decided to try out Clarins HydraQuench Cream, hopefully it will keep my skin hydrated. Lancome Hypnose Dolly Eyes Mascara was a share purchase with my mum, as there where two in one package(christmas offer), I like it so far, but I can't say much about it yet. I am almost out from my loved Nars Laguna Bronzer, so I decided to try out something new, Clarins Bronzing Duo sounds really good. Chanel Demaquillant Yeux Eye Make-Up Remover, I normally remove my eye make-up with Bioderma, but it's nice to change from time to time. Night cream was also needed hopefully Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins Moisturiser will be good for my skin. I actually bought MAC Pigment in Vanilla for New Year's Eve, as I wanted really glittery eyes. Worked really well with my eye make-up.

I am so sad that I have to wait until Saturday to use most of the products, as I live by the rule "photograph before use". I  have full bag of products to photograph, so excited that my blog is finally starting to work, as it used to.
phyto clarifying detox shampoo

Once a week I just always aim to use a clarifying shampoo, to wash out all the products build up and to make my hair look less dull. Not going to lie, I tend to apply lots of products on my hair and after a while they start looking greasy, even after few hours of wash, not a good look. Normally I wash my hair every 2/3days. Just to let you know I also have sensitive scalps, so not all shampoos are good for me.

Phyto Clarifying Detox Shampoo became one of my favorite build up removing shampoo. The smell is very minty and fresh, you can actually feel the coolness of the mint while you work the shampoo. It does foam up a little, but it's not really foamy, so the foam won't dry out the hair. I like the packaging, but once you get to the point where you are almost out of the product, it's really difficult to get the rest out. The shampoo does clarify the hair really well and leaves them feeling weightless. I wouldn't recommend using this shampoo too often as it may damage your natural hair oils system(can't really think of a name). I also like to use a deep conditioner in combination with the Phyto Clarifying Detox Shampoo. The product works well with my sensitive scalps, it doesn't dry them out. I am currently on my second tube and I will definitely still repurchase. What's your favorite clarifying shampoos? Or do you just skip this step?
garnier body ultimate beauty oil

This been very popular around bloggers when it have launched, at first I though it's nothing special, but when I saw it on offer I decided to give it a go. During winter time my legs get dry, and so does my elbows, so I need something what would be very moisturising.

Garnier Body Ultimate Beauty Oil is a fast absorbing oil. I really like the idea it's a spray, as it's a lot easier to apply, although when you have oily hands it gets difficult to spray. The Oil smells amazing in the bottle, but whenever I apply it before going to bed, the next morning, the smell is very unpleasant and you can smell it on you bedsheets as well. You just need to take another shower to wash it off, although there may be people who may like the scent. I am really tempted to try out the rose version. The moisture is great and my legs are well moisturised, on areas where your skin is pretty normal, it may take a longer while to absorb. Overall Body Oils are very popular, but there are mostly high end brands oils, this is great budget buy. I haven't really tried any high end oils, but there are few on my wishlist. The packaging looks lovely. As I have mention I just don't really like the scent, but overall it's a lovely product.
things i want 46

So many things I would like recently, I am really into perfumes and skincare. As I planned I want to improve my skincare routine, it's getting better, just want to try out some new products. I read so many positive things about Khiel's Skin Rescuer, really want to try it out. Chanel Chance been forever on my mind, would love to treat myself with it. YSL Parisienne smells so amazing, I always thought that most YSL perfumes are really sweet smelling, well they are, but this one is just more floroal. Would love to add it to my perfume collection.
2013: top 5 lipsticks

I love wearing lipsticks, although recently I been very lazy and I kept on skipping lipstick. Need to fix up on that. Although I love wearing Maybelline Baby Lips, adds lovely tint and moisture to the lips. I just love when my lips feel moisturised, don't we all?

Personally I love Topshop lipsticks. The colours are great, there is a colour for everyone. Topshop Innocent, is a pretty pale pink, great to wear during the day. Smells amazing, even on the lips. I like to wear it whenever I have stronger eye make-up. MAC lipsticks will be my weakness, they are so expensive, but worth the money! MAC Viva La Glam Nicki is a beautiful neon pink, love wearing it whenever I am going out and I want something bold on my lips. My poor baby MAC Lipstick in Naughty Saute had a bad accident on a night out, note to myself don't reapply lipstick when you are very very drunk. This is my favourite shade of pink, it's looks so beautiful. MAC Lipstick in Watch Me Shimmer was my first step to coral, slightly reddish lipsticks. Love wearing, whenever I have only mascara on my eyes. Rimmel Lipstick in Pink Champagne is one of my favourite dolly pink, you can actually notice how used up it is. It's such a pretty shade, smells lovely too.

As you may realised from this post I love pink lipsticks, but I am slowly becoming more braver to wear bolder colours on daily basic, not only on night outs. What are your favourite lipsticks?
2013: top 5 skincare products

Skincare is a very personal in my opinion, not everything will work as well as it may for example work for me. I decided that in 2014, I will improve on my skincare, want to improve my night time routine. So if you have any product recommendation, please let me know.

I love wearing lipsticks, but my lips started to look a lot more drier, so I decided to try out Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm, it's amazing! The best lip balm I had tried so far, keeps my lips soft and moisturised. Don't we all hate breakouts? I had such a bad skin days, during summer. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo is my lifesaver, my skin finally is pretty much "spot free." I do find it slightly drying when I use it too often, but overall it's an amazing product. I love facial scrubs, they just make my skin feel really clean, Sanctuary Spa Radiance Exfoliator has just an amazing smell and is very gentle. Estee Lauder Idealist Dual-Action Refinishing Treatment, this is basically and exfoliating pore mask, it's minimize down the pores, works so well with my skin. The price tag is heavy but it's definitely worth a try. You can't never go wrong with a Origins Clear Improvement Face Mask, overall all Origins face mask are great!
sunday portrait 58
001. Start of new year, I am slowly working towards my new goals, which I would like to achieve this year. Hopefully they will be successful. Mostly I would like to focus on my blog, as I missed writing, and I already had a long break.

002. Can't believe Christmas passed by so fast, the amount of food I consumed over Christmas is insane! Luckily I didn't put on weight, that a good thing. Now I am back to my healthy lifestyle, did I tell you I love going to the gym? It's not a lie. I took down my Christmas tree, so sad, as Christmas Tree is my favourite during the festive season.

003. I really want to change something about my hair, but I just don't want to damage it a lot, as I recently had a "big" trim. I been thinking of going a bit more lighter. Urghh first world problems. Guess I don't need a change for now. All I want is longer hair. Hopefully all of you had a lovely weekend.
2013: top 5 make-up products

Make-upholic, yes me! Love trying out new make-up bits, which girl doesn't? Foundations are my favourite to try out as most of you already know. Since 2012 I been doing a sum up of my top 5 products which I discovered, it's time to sum up my favourite products from 2013.

I never really been a big fan of MAC make-up, not really sure why. My MAC Eyeshadow Quad contains All That Glitter, Twinks, Shale, Satin Taupe. I love using All That Glitter all over the lid and then add any of the other three eye shadows in the crease. At first I didn't really understand why MAC eyeshadows have been so hyped up, but now I must say I agree, each eyeshadow have great pigmentation, as well as lasting power. I do still love my Urban Decay palettes, but from time to time I just like to use a different brand. L'Oreal Superliner Perfect Slim Eyeliner* is my all time favourite eyeliner, it's really slim and easy to use. It's also very black and it's last on the eyes all day, luckily it doesn't turn grey after whole day of wear. I am not a big fan of gel eyeliners, as I find them really difficult to use. Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara is my newest addiction, can't believe I haven't tried it out earlier! As much as I love Chanel Le Volume De Chanel, and I will definitely still use it, Diorshow is just a winner. The curve wand is perfect, doesn't stick the lashes together.  Some mascaras leave a mark on my upper lids after whole day of wear and this one doesn't.

Couldn't decide which foundation I like more, so I had to include both. Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation has just amazing full coverage, I love full coverage during winter time. I must say the colour match is perfect for my pale complection. When I want a lighter coverage I just mix it with lighter coverage foundation. YSL Youth Liberator Foundation is my newest discovery, love this foundation! The coverage is amazing, so is the finish. Again the colour match is amazing! Anything you would like to recommend to me?

new year’s beauty resolutions ’14

2014, already!? As I planned I decided to give up on blogging and came back in 2014. So I am planning to stick to my plan. I set myself goals a lot more often and I always aim to stick to them, some are more successful and other less.

01. Apply moisturiser more often, I keep on skipping this part during the nighttime routine, normally I am so tired that I just quickly remove my make-up with facial gel and then I just go straight to sleep. I never used to be like that, just became so lazy recently with my skincare.

02. Take better care of my hair. I need to start using heat protection, whenever I use heat on my hair. Luckily I hate blow drying my hair, so that pretty much positive thing about my haircare routine. Use more hair masks and brush my hair more often. (I hate brushing my hair, I normally just do it before actually washing my hair).

03. Take better care of my nails, need to stop biting/peeling the nail polish off, this such a bad habit. As well as I better care is needed too. I recently realised that my nails are a lot more drier.

04. Stop buying, start using. Every time I go shopping I came back home with new beauty product, addiction. It will be a lot easier when I will use up a certain product before buying a new one, as well as I need to start using up products which have been open for a longer while.

05. Experiment more, I normally stick to the same look. Need to be more brave and play around a bit more with make-up. I would love to start wearing red lipstick, I love how it looks on other girls, I am just not brave enough to wear it myself. Also try to add blusher into my make-up routine.

What are your New Year’s beauty resolutions?
