products i've used up 4

Soap&Glory Flake Away: I really like Soap&Glory body products, I think they are amazing. The Flake Away is such a great body scrub, the particles are very small, so in my opinion it's great to use on daily basic. The smell is very nice, I will be buying full size, as I really enjoyed using it.
Maybelline Pure Cover Mineral Concealer: My all time favourite concealer, wish it wasn't discontinued.  The coverage worked for me really well, it didn't turn cakey under the eyes, that happens with most concealers I use (I don't tend to apply too much). Overall it's a really great product. It's very lightweight. Currently I'm using the Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer and I like it a lot.
Revlon Photoready Foundation: My favourite foundation to wear on daily basic mixed with Estee Lauder Double Wear. This foundation does contain small glittery particles, but they are barley noticeable on the skin. I mostly love this foundation for the colour match, as it's so good! I will definitely repurchase it.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation: Best medium coverage foundation I have ever tried. It's has amazing staying power on the skin, you can read full review on it here. It never broke me out. The colour match is also really good, although Estee Lauder have launched new colours, so I might get another colour match before buying new one.
Clarins Self Tanning Instant Gel: My skin is really pale, so from time to time I like to add some colour on my skin. I have been using the Clarins Self Tanning Instant Gel, I found it very easy to apply. I'm very new to the "fake  tanning world" this is one of the first fake tan I had a chance to try out. It last on the skin for around 8 days, but you need to scrub it off after a week wear, as it's tend to became patchy on the skin. The smell wasn't that bad, I got used to it. I notice that Clarins have redesign their packaging. In my opinion it's a great fake tan, but I'm willing to try out other brands, any recommendation?
GOLDWELL Dual Senses Ultra Volume 60sec Gel Treatment:  Hair treatment to use with shampoo, to be honest I didn't get on with this product very well. It had weight down my hair whenever I used it, as it's an volumising treatment it should add volume not weight my hair down. Not sure if I was using it the wrong way or what. If anyone had a chance to use it, did it work for you?
estee lauder blusher in true sand

One of my first blusher I ever bought! I have naturally very pink/rosy cheeks, so there is no need for me to use blusher. When I do use blusher I tend to go for more brown tone blushers, as they look a lot more nicer on my skin. Before I could leave the house without wearing a blusher, but now I love to apply some colour on my cheeks and I don't skip that step anymore.

The Estee Lauder Signature Silky Powder Blush in True Sand is an gorgeous warm brownish/peachy tone blusher. In my opinion it's a matte bronzer, but when I look in the light it does contain some glitter particles, but they are barley noticeable on the skin. The blush applies fairly sheer on the skin, but you can easily build it up, I like to apply it with Duo Fiber brush (Sigma F50). It does come with a brush, but I find it too small to apply the blush on the cheeks. It is long wearing on the skin. I really like the packaging, comes with a mirror, as well as with a brush, which is really soft and handy when traveling. The price is high, but in my opinion it's worth every penny, as well as it will last for a very long amount of time
sunday portrait 50

001. Finally got my hands on new lens! I bought the classic 50mm lens, I had been experimenting with it for whole day, photographing products for my blog. It's amazing to play around with the focus, as well as I'm finally able to use the Aperture on f/1.8 setting, whereas in my old lens it didn't let me go lower than f/4.0. Can't wait to share the new photos on my blog.

002. Just made a cheeky large order online at Boots, can't wait to play around with new skincare, haircare and make-up bits. I'm aware that I don't need all the new bits now, but I just wanted them for so long. This weekend I finally sat down and have written a list of products I want to buy/try. I always write these kind of list, but I loose them and now they are written in one of my favourite (blogging) notebook, so I won't loose them and I will only buy things on the list. Will feel so much better when I will start to cross out the things I already bought or tried. Need to learn how to ask for samples at counters.

003. Need to change something in my bedroom. For now I know that I want to repaint the walls, but I need to wait until it will get a lot warmer so I can easily get rid of the paint smell. I might move around my furniture, as I'm bored of the current look. I like to reorganise things in my bedroom.

004. Got myself a new laptop last week, so happy! Am I allowed to moan about how much I hate Windows 8? I HATE it! Probably tonight I will have Windows 7 installed. Somehow I downloaded free trail photoshop and it worked for the first day and now I can't find it anywhere in the system. That's extremely annoying, as I need to use my brothers computer to edit my photos. This post is almost all about spending money, but honestly I been saving for a new laptop forever. I also promised myself that with next pay day I would buy myself new lens.

005. So happy that the giveaway went so well, I really want to do more. I've already planned the next one. Thanks you for supporting my blog.

giveaway: look beauty loud lip liner & double hit lip winner

So excited to announce the winner of Look Beauty Loud Lip Linear in Toffee Cup and Double Hit Lip in Rose Riot. The winner is Hanne. Congratulation lovely, hope you will enjoy both items and have great use out of them. I'll be emailing you today.
estee lauder double wear foundation

Took me forever to review this foundation, not sure why. Estee Lauder Double Wear is my favouite foundation to wear during winter time or whenever I need more coverage. I like to use Real Technique Stippling brush to apply it, however sometimes I just prefer to use my fingers.

Double Wear is easy to over apply and if you do so you will be left with cakey face. It's flawless medium to full coverage foundation with matte finish. It isn't heavy on the skin. The lasting power is really strong, as on my skin it lasts for around 8-10hours.  At first when I apply the foundation, the colour seems to be too dark, but after a while once the foundation sets it's the perfect match. It doesn't break me out, which is great as most foundation tend to break me out.  The scent of the foundation isn't very pleasing, but I manged to get use to it, so it doesn't really bother me anymore. Whenever I didn't need so much coverage, but I wanted long lasting foundation, I had mixed Estee Lauder Double Wear with Revlon Photoready foundation, you can read more about it here. This is an awesome foundation, but avoid it if you're going to be photographed.

I really like the matte packaging, but the packaging would be even more amazing if it come with a pump. The formula is very runny, so whenever I was pouring it on my hand, the foundation was all other the place. I been using the MAC pump, you can buy it from here. In my opinion this is a great foundation and I will forever repurchase it. Have you had a chance to try it, if yes what do you think of it?
giveaway: look beauty loud lip liner & double hit lip

It's time for another giveaway, I am planning to do giveaways more often. I bought both products with my own money. Both products have been opened, but I haven't used the lipstick or lipgloss. I did swatch the lip linear on my hand, but I had sharpened it. Hope you don't mind that. Hopefully you will love both items more. This giveaway will end on Saturday. Good luck.

For the last two months I been almost absent on my blog, I would really like to update you all why is that. I don't want this post to be full of excuses, but I just want you all to know that I'm alive. Recently I been overloaded withy my Foundation Diploma course, the deadlines are round the corner.  I had focused on it more, as to be honest eduction "should be" my priority. Also last week was focused around UCAS application. If you don't already know I also work in the evenings, so during the week  I am out of the house from 9am-23pm. If you follow me on twitter you will know that my laptop had broken down and that has not helped me to get back on track. Hopefully my new laptop will arrive today, I hope the snow won't stop the delivery man.

Now getting to the actual point of this post, I'm not quitting blogging as I love it so much! From this weekend I'm planning to catch up on everything and be on top of all the things. How beautiful does the snow look today? Need to go out and take some pictures.

001. Another week, another busy week. I finally had completed my UCAS application, kept on putting it off, as I'm still unsure what I want to study. I might stick with Photography, but I'm really temped to study Graphic Design. This week my blog also turned one, as I promised this year will be even better!

002. Looking for new foundations to try out, I would like medium coverage with dewy finish, if you have any to recommend to me please do so. Most of my foundations are almost finished, so I want to try out new ones. My empties post will contain lots of products, I guess.

003. Snow?! I would love it to snow, although that will complicate our life a bit, but I love the fact that London will look beautiful! Thinking of the lovely photographs.
blog birthday 1

BurningBlonde is 1 year old today! Can't believe this year had passed so fast! I would love to thank you all for being here with me! This year is going to be even better, I can promise you all this.
favourites of 2012: hair

Toni&Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray: The best sea salt spray I had a chance to use! I love to use it on days when my hair are shapeless and I want to add some texture. Whenever I use this sea salt spray my hair became more wavy and curly, really love that effect. I find most Sea Salt sprays tend to dry out the hair, but this one doesn't. It's also smells really nice.
Bumble and Bumble Deeep Hair mask: My favourite hair mask, I love to use it whenever my hair get weak and lifeless. It's brings back the moisture to my hair, makes them a lot softer.
L'Oreal Mythic Oil: My all time favourite hair serum/oil. This works so well with my hair and keeps my hair really moisturised.
TRESemme Texturising Spray: Such a great hair product! I love to use it when I'm in a rush (every morning) and I just don't have the energy to style my hair. This products adds so much texture to my wavy hair. I really like most products from TRESemme Texture Style range, will be soon reviewing them on my blog.
TRESemme Deep Cleansing Shampoo: As I use lot of hair products, I like to deep cleanse my hair. My favourite shampoo to deep cleanse my hair, does the job. It's very affordable and works really well with my sensitive scalps. I went through so many bottles of this product in my lifetime, I think I will forever repurchase it.
favourites of 2012: lips

Topshop Lipstick in Innocent: Innocent is very pretty pale pink lipstick, I love to wear it on daily basic. It's very smooth on the lips and in my opinion it will also look really nice on dry lips too. Overall I do think that all Topshop Lipstick are really good and I must admit that I have slight obsession with them.
MAC Lipstick in Naughty Saute: My favourite lipstick. So sad that this is a Limited Edition lipstick and you can no longer buy it. Naughty Saute is a Cremesheen finish, one of my favourite MAC finishes, as the lipsticks are very creamy and not drying on my lips. Naughty Saute is a pretty blue-tone bright pink, it's slightly sheer, but you can layer it to get more bold colour. Bright Pinks are my favourite, I just love how they look on my lips. I worn it so many times and I always have it in my bag.
MAC Lipstick in Watch Me Shimmer: At first I wasn't sure about this lipstick, as the colour had scared me, now I'm in love with it! I love to wear it when my eyes are lightly done. Recently I been wearing very basic outfits and adding such a bright colour on my lips made everything stand out more. I think I finally gained the confidence to play around with more reddish tone lipsticks. MAC Watch Me Shimmer is such a pretty coral pinkish orange.
Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Lovechild: Lovechild is such a pretty light-medium pink with a blue undertone, it's slightly sheer on the lips. To me this products is like lipgloss in a lip stick form, as well as on the better note it's not sticky. It's very glossy on the lips, but very wearable. It's very smooth on the lips, feels like a lip balm.
YSL Lipstick in Fetish Pink #8: The expensive favourite, the packaging and colour look so good. Pigmentation of Fetish Pink is very strong, you just need thin layer. YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick are very smooth and soft on the lips. Sometimes the smoothness of lipstick is annoying, as the lipstick tends to wear of pretty fast. Although I like it mostly for the days when my lips feel little dry, but I still want to wear colour.

sunday portrait 48

001. HEEELLLOOOW! This is my "first" Sunday portrait in the New Year. Somehow I don't really feel like we started a new year, for me it's just feels like a start of new month, if that makes any sense. Can't believe that the 2 most amazing weeks of doing nothing passed so fast! I'm not ready to go back to my everyday life, the idea of 9am-10pm just kills me.

002. Blogging things. On the 10th it's the first blog anniversary, can't believe that already a year passed since writing up my first post. Thank you all for keeping up with my blog. This week I'm planning to continue with the "Favourites of 2012" posts. Hope you are enjoying them. So many ideas so little time.

003. In a month time, hopefully, I might be a happy owner of MacBook. Then everything will be so much easier! As my laptop (which breaks and fix itself after few days) is ....  Then I'm planning to get myself a new camera lens, I'm planning to buy the 50mm. When I will have everything, I might start making youtube videos?! Everything also depends on my time management etc.
favourites of 2012: cheeks

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade: My all time favourite highlighter. Gives such a lovely glow to the skin, great to use on daily basic. I had it for over a year now and there is still a lot left. I mostly like it because it doesn't contain glitter.
Benefit Watt's Up Highlighter: Another favourite highlighter of mine. I love to use this highlighter on nights out, as it's more shimmery than MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade. Sometimes the cream form annoys me, as it's slightly difficult to blend.
Look Beauty Make Me Blush in Pinch: Great blusher to use on the days when I want more colour on my cheeks. I must say that Look Beauty Blusher are so well pigmented, I normally apply it lightly and then I slowly begin to build the colour up. Look Beauty Make Me Blush in Pinch is such a pretty shimmery baby pink, with slight blue undertones.
Estee Lauder Blusher in True Sand: My all time favourite blush! The colour works so well with my skin tone and naturally pink cheeks. I love to wear it as there is no way you can apply too much on your cheeks, it will always look very "natural". I actually had discovered this blusher by accident, as I was getting colour matched for Estee Lauder Double Wear, the lovely MUA had applied it on my cheeks.
Nars Laguna Bronzer: The best bronzer ever! It doesn't contain any unnatural orange tone. Works so well with my pale skin. I love using it to contour my cheeks, although it does contains shimmer it doesn't really bother me.
favourites of 2012: eye

Urban Decay Brow Box: My favourite brow filler, the colours work really well with my brows. The Brow Box also contains wax, but I no longer use it, I much prefer to use clear mascara to set my brows. Before I never really took care of my eyebrows, but now I feel naked when they aren't filled in.
MUA Undressed Eyeshadow Palette*: This is my favourite palette of all time, although the shades are very similar to the Naked 1 palette, I still love both palettes equally. You may actually notice straight away that the two shades receive lots of love, my favourite colours to wear on daily basic.
MaxFactor False Lash Effect: I had included this mascara in my last year favourites too! I still love it so much. Works so well with my lashes and I know it will never let me down. I am still trying out new mascaras, but none of them work as well as the False Lash Effect.
Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner: This is the blackest eyeliner I had used in a while, it's really easy to work with. I normally wear it really thin close to eyelashes, just to make my lashes look a lot more fuller.
Urban Decay Naked Palette: As I mention before, this palette is very similar to the MUA Undressed palette, but I wouldn't say they are exactly the same. SIN is my favourite shade, I also had hit pan on it. My favourite palette to travel with, been on a trip to Poland probably 4 times now. I also love Naked Palette 2, but this one received a lot more love, probably because I had it for a very long time now.
favourites of 2012: face

Maybelline Mineral Concealer: I shouldn't really include this product, as it had been discontinued, but I will forever love it. I had used this concealer for around 1,5years and it's so sad that it had been discontinued. The coverage worked for me really well, it didn't turn cakey under the eyes, that happens with most concealers I use (I don't tend to apply too much). Overall it's a really great product.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation: I never thought that I would love this foundation so much! At first the smell kept on putting me off. Estee Lauder Double Wear is medium coverage foundation, I don't need so much coverage on daily basic, so I tend to mix it with Revlon Photoready Foundation, you can read more about it here.
Revlon Photoready Foundation: My favourite foundation to wear on daily basic mixed with Estee Lauder Double Wear. This foundation does contain small glittery particles, but I don't notice them on the skin. I mostly love this foundation for the colour match, as it's so good!
MAC Studio Fix Powder: This had been my lifesaver for the past months. As I been normally out of the house from 9am until 10pm and after around 4-6hours my forehead and nose gets oily, so I love using this to cover everything up. Sometimes when my foundation wears off I tend to apply this on top and everything looks so much better. Great product to use for touch ups.
Benefit Porefessional Primer: I'm really into primers lately, there are so many which I want to try out. So far this is my favourite one, I really love the way this makes the pores appear smaller. Although my pores aren't very large, but they started to be visible. The scent is very pleasant.
MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer: This is like maximum coverage concealer to me. I don't use it under the eyes, as I don't need such a strong coverage. I tend to use it under foundation to coverup spots etc. It's has amazing staying power. Amazing product to use when I'm having really bad breakouts.

Happy New Year 2013

Happy New Year! Wish you all the best in 2013. How did you celebrate? Hope that all of you are feeling amazing today. Can't believe that 2013 is already here, let's make it the best year ever. Enjoy your evening.
